Opening the map loads tiles from the map provider, which then sees your IP address.

How it works

  1. Pick a station

Every station is a Raspberry Pi with an RTL-SDR receiver, set up by a volunteer. Choose one on the globe, the map or the list.

  2. Tune it yourself

Enter a frequency inside what the station receives and choose AM, FM, SSB or CW. Others on the same frequency share the stream. Nothing switches you to another station.

  3. Run your own station

Put the OpenSDR software on a Raspberry Pi, plug in a dongle and an antenna, and add it to your account with the code it shows.
