Terms of use
Last updated 2026-10-13
OpenSDR is run by OpenSDR. By listening or running a station you agree to these terms.
Listening
- The stations belong to volunteers. They can be offline, busy or changed at any time, and we do not promise that any station or frequency is available.
- Each station can receive only the frequencies its owner set up. You always stay on the station you chose; we never switch you to another one.
- Some radio services may not be listened to, recorded or passed on under the law where you or the station are. You are responsible for what you listen to and for what you do with it.
- Do not overload, scrape or try to get around the limits of the service.
Running a station
- You must be allowed to run a receiver and to share what it receives where it is located.
- Stations receive only; never connect a transmitter.
- Do not share frequencies that carry private, emergency or otherwise protected communications where the law forbids it.
- Keep your account details correct and your sign-in private.
- We may pause, block or remove a station or account that breaks these terms or the law, or that harms the service. When we block a station we tell you why in the owner panel.
- Your station's software updates itself from our server. You can stop this at any time by switching the station off.
No warranty
OpenSDR is a free community service provided as it is, without warranties. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using it or from it being unavailable.
Changes and law
We may change these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Kuwait. Questions: noreply@opensdr.online.
